Toe Update

I am happy to report that my toe is almost back to it's normal shade of Me but not quite. It is sort of swollen and a bit red but no where near the deep dark purple that shocked the hell out of me on Sunday morning.

Thanks to all for your thoughts a prayers for the little roast beef loving swine. He is doing fine for now. I am still keeping a close watch on him until we are completely healed.

So glad to hear you're doing better. Sounds like you handled the situation in a pretty rational manner, considering how frightening and unexpected it was.
A couple years ago I had just recovered from several months of disturbed vision and laser surgery. One Saturday morning, I decided to go for a walk after checking my email, but forgot to switch out of my computer glasses. I got outside and of course everything was blurry and I had a major freakout on the street, thinking, "the treatments didn't work after all". I stumbled home, my heart pounding, and finally realized that I had the wrong glasses on! A huge relief, but a reminder that we are vulnerable. Best wishes for continued healing.
