Oh I knew WHO Grimace was. I just did not know WHAT he was. The Mayor is a Cheeseburger. Ronald, a scary clown. But Grimace. I did not know what he was supposed to be!

I always thought that Grimace was the cousin of Snuffleupagus from Sesame Street...
