Veterans, Awards, and Hands

There are a few things I wanted to mention this Monday morning.

Happy Veterans Day! I wrote a post about this over at Blogabetes. I would love for you to check it out. It is not such a happy day for this ninja.

Second, our good friend, and keeper of the Diabetes OC Website, Allison has just announced that the Diabetes O.C. Awards nominations are underway. Keep all ninjas in mind when nominating! :)

And I know it is not You Tube Tuesday but I did not want to wait to help spread this clip from Tu Diabetes.

My vote is for G-Money all the way around! w00t!!

And damn the corporate firewall keepers and web traffic filter guru's that prevent me from watching the video from work...

Hmm... I didn't know we could troll for votes on our own blogs :D

Just kidding, but I sure am glad you can vote for more than one in each category!

Don't forget your favorite cheesestick, Diet Coke drinker in your votes! (Better known as I'll vote for you if you vote for me)

G - I sent you something.... And you're silent. I'm afraid you think it's horrible... :O

But I agree with Scott - I'm voting G this year.

I'm so sorry about the painful feelings that veterans day leaves for you. We have similar here - dh is military and I'm sure he always thought his little guy would follow in his footsteps. Not going to happen unless there is a cure in the next 10 years. :(

I'm sorry it's not a good day for you. I distinctly remember feeling as though the army recruiters all thought I had the plague or something. They wanted me for my brains, and then when they found out I had diabetes, they practically *jumped* away from me. It was not fun. Ah well. We all have something important to give, even if it's not of a military nature! And you give us all a good laugh from time to time. That's pretty important, don'tcha think?
