So sorry to hear about the pain, fainting feelings, etc. What a drag!
I was diagnosed with a herniated disk in my back about 6 weeks ago. I can only stand and lay flat as well. Sitting is horribly painful and driving is mostly impossible. I, too, am living on advil and vicodin. So I feel your pain on that one. I have a tall counter in my kitchen where I have set up a "station" for my computer, etc.
And....my iphone died yesterday. I am lost without it.
