You Tube Tuesday #191 - Not By Choice Slideshow

The next few posts are going to be all about the walk/diaversary party/meetup weekend. But for today I want to share a clip with you.

At the after party I put together a little presentation about my diabetes life. At one point I asked all of the PWD's in the room to stand, say their name, and tell us how many years they have had diabetes.

After we went around the room I played my song live and this slidshow was playing in the background.

Thanks to all of you who sent in your pictures for the project. I think the point I wanted to make came through and I couldn't have done it without your help. Thanks!

Diabetes is a hard diagnosis to hear, but it’s not a death sentence. I believe the verse in the Bible that says God will never give us more than we can handle.

Great vid George!!! I cannot wait to show Joe when he gets home from school. Thanks for the visual aid so that I can show my son, once again, that he is not alone. I appreciate it.

It is an awesome video (and song), George. Very moving - had me in tears! I shared it on my Facebook to all my friends and busted out the credit card for iTunes (I NEVER like to purchase stuff through there, rather get the actual CD, but I had to buy the song!) :-)

This is just beautiful George! It made me smile to see so many familiar faces and to remember we're not alone in this. There are those that help us laugh when we're overwhelmed, talk us off the ledge when we feel so sick and our hope is gone, and to celebrate and cheer us when we bounce back. I lift my bacon sandwich to you buddy!

Thanks so much, George, Your song is so moving and the photos make an emotional impact when paired with the music. Your 20th anniversary sounds like it was an amazingly positive experience.

Having the slideshow playing during your song really put an extra touch of love to it. I can't tell you how much it meant to me seeing all of our friends up there on the screen. I loved it!

I have seen many posts similar to this one on internet but all other have filler content and are not up-to-the mark. This post especially made me to post my comments as its credible, imitation Alain Silberstein it’s very good!
