What I Am

I married my high school sweetheart. I remember when I first saw Jasmine at a fundraiser car wash and it was love at first sight.

I have two of the most awesome kids around. Son is 16, Daughter is 12. Both rock.

I started playing drums in 7th grade and I can bust out booty shaking jams on the skins!

I have written a few songs. Some you may have heard of, some you haven't. Some good. Some meh.

I am not ashamed of what I believe and you shouldn't either, whatever it is.

My friends are my family. If you are my friend then you are family.

I have so many dreams but some feel so real, so close that I can almost see them coming around the corner.

The future scares the heck out me. I have faith that my life will always be good but can I achieve my dreams? It scares me to think that my dreams are just that.

All I can ever be is just myself. There a lot of things I want to change about myself but there are more things that I don't. One day I will be totally at peace with the person I am but until then I have to keep trying to get it right.

You know what I learn from this post, George? Is that you do a great job of balancing all aspects of you throughout the year, every single day. I already know all the above about you. I'm glad to have gotten to know you. Thank you for this and every other day that we have had the opportunity to share with each other. :)

George, I think you've already go a lot right. It takes a pretty pulled together person to know themself well.

Thanks for this awesome No-D-Day. The participation is fabulous!

Well said! I like the reference to not being ashamed of what I believe and you shouldn't either, whatever it is (or isn't!). From another person in the "friend" category.

Was she in a bikini? Did that cause love at first sight?

Yes, "friend" because you are so supportive of all you know. Thank you!
