Mac Daddy

I cannot believe I just titled this post that way but whatever. It's Monday and I bought a Mac! w00t!

I am still learning how to do stuff on it but I am way excited. The guy at the Apple Store thought it was funny that we have iPhones, iPods, an iPad, Apple TV, and even Airport Extreme (Apple's wireless router) but we never had a Mac. This completes the Mac circle of life in a way.

Anyhow, I am spending most of my time checking out stuff, reading stuff, and watching tutorials. If any of you Mac users have any tips, tricks, or guidance I would appreciate it.

I've used a PC for so long that it is taking some getting used to but I am ready for those hurdles.

So long Windows!

Once you go Mac, you never go back.

one thing i like on macs is the ability to see all your windows at a quick glance... i think you hold your mouse curser in the corner of the screen for the pop ups to begin... i'm not a mac power user by any means - but that's the one thing i (almost) know how to do :)

a quick google search calls it "hot corners"

I switched too. There is still a lot of stuff I can't figure out like where the heck does it stick files? I am no fan of iPhoto for some reason my collection brings it to it's knees. Not a big Number fan either. I do love the fit and finish and I like pages a lot,

I think Time Machine is brilliant and the apple time capsule is a WAY better wireless router.

Now where is the Bacon slot on this thing?

iChat for chatting conversations between Macs, even with more than two people. :D

I have no idea about anything else, I am still trying to figure out all the tricks on mine!
