An Easy Exercise
Friday, August 27, 2010 at 7:00AM
Please participate, there is a point.
Take a nice deep breath. As deep as you can.
Now let it out slowly.
Again, a nice slow breath in.
And now out, slowly.
In again.
Feel the cool clean air in your lungs.
And now out.
Feel how relaxed you are knowing you are getting fresh air!
Tomorrow I am going to celebrate 4 years of smoke free breathing. A big hug to all of you who have also quit and those of you who still smoke, know that I never thought I could quit, but I did.

Way. To. Go.
Congrats and thanks for your contribution to the clean air for all of us.
Loved the graphic.
Wow! It's been FOUR YEARS already?
I'm so proud of you man! Plus, you not smoking means I don't have to smell like smoke when I am staying at your crib. :-)
Congrats!!!! 4 years of clean lungs, you rock!
Congratulations George. I'm just crossing the 3.5 year mark myself. Had quit a couple times before, twice for over a year, but I know for sure that this one is going to stick, and, oddly, I have diabetes to thank for that. It raised the stakes past the point that I couldn't pretend I was just messing around anymore. I think it's funny that, if you meet (or first encounter, I know we haven't met) someone after they've quit, it's usually impossible to imagine them as a smoker, whereas if you knew someone as a smoker, it's hard to recognize that they've quit. Reading your blog, you've never come across as a smoker. Which I guess means you've definitely made it. Taking in a nice, long, clean inhale in your honor. Here's to health.
George! That's awesome! Congratulations!
