No D-Day
It's time again.
Last year the DOC celebrated a day without diabetes...almost.
You see we deal with diabetes all day long. Counting carbs, checking blood, drawing up syringes, calculating bolus, and even waiting for doctors. Then we get online and write blogs about diabetes, read about them, tweet about them, and update the status on our Facebook pages about diabetes.
I'm not complaining because I love the OC, I love my people, I love sharing all about my dlife. BUT, I want to know more about all of you. I want to hear about your day BESIDES diabetes, or INSTEAD OF your diabetes.
We are all cool people with interesting stuff going on, lets spend one whole day and just share that stuff. I think it will be cool and last year was pretty great.
Here is my No D-Day post from last year to give you an idea of how it works.
So what do you say? Are you in? Grab that banner above and on Thursday October 7th, let's not mention the D word.
Do you think you can do it? I bet you can.
The thing is, you have to be willing to still hop on Twitter as much as you do now. Just Tweet about other stuff!
So? Whaddya think?

This is a cool idea George. Read the "Fatherhood" post - loved it. Count me in on Oct 7th...maybe I'll have Joe write it.
