Aunt Addie Update

A few weeks ago I wrote about my Aunt Addie and her unfortunate broken arm. Well, I wanted to give you all an update since so many of you have been praying for her and sending healing vibes her way.

She went in last week to finally get the staples removed and so she could be fitted for a cast but x-rays showed that the joint they put in at her elbow came apart. It seems crazy to me but somehow it happened and they are going to have to surgery again.

Today.

So please keep her in thoughts and prayers. More than anything I worry about the fear she is facing. This stuff is nothing she has ever dealt with and I know she is kind of freaked out.

My mom and aunt (her sisters) are going to be there all day to make sure she is okay.

The doctor did say that she will have a cast on before she leaves hoping that will do the trick.

I hope so because I know my aunt wants to go back to bowling soon.

Thanks again to everyone who sent cards and those who keep sending cards! She loves them all and it really does lift her spirits.

Good people don't deserve these kinds of bad problems. Hope this time it holds and Aunt Addie heals fast.
