Glucose is Important

Back in 1993 a local radio station called KROQ had a festival concert called, The KROQ Weenie Roast and Sing Along. It was awesome seeing Dramarama, Stone Temple Pilots, X, The Lemonheads, and more all on the same stage.

While walking though all the food and merchandise stands I came across a guy selling these pictures in frames that looked weird. There was a crowd just standing there staring at them and some shouting, “oh I see it now!” My friend and I walked over to check them out and they just looked like a weird pattern of color, not a picture at all. I asked the guy who was selling them what it was all about and he said that I had to look “through” the picture and only then would I see it.

As soon as I looked back at the picture I saw it. A bunch of dinosaurs were standing around a jungle scene. It was crazy. My friend could not see it but it was easy for me.

I remember back when I was a kid driving from my grandma’s house in Los Angeles to our house in the suburbs. We had a VW Beetle and I remember the headliner inside the VW was made up of a bunch of little holes. Line after line of little holes. I would lay there on the seat and look at them in a daze. Layer by layer the roof of the car seemed to get closer to me. What I didn’t know was that my eyes were crossing and pulling dots way on the left with one eye and dots way on the right with the other creating this weird 3D effect. It always made me carsick whenever I did it but staring at that headliner is what allows me to be able to see those Magic Eye, Stereogram pictures easily.

What you have just read is what went through my mind after waking up with a low early this morning and before treating it. What the heck right?

KROQ hasn't been the same since Richard Blade left. :)

I remember having a low once just after watching the first Matrix movie. I sat and thought and thought and thought about peeling back "this movie screen we call life" to see what is REALLY behind it...

LOL! Crazy what our minds do when we're low. :-)

Please tell me that is a fake Magic Eye and I shouldn't be able to see anything.

Because I can't.

Then again, I have never been able to "see" them. I think it's all just one big prank!

Brad - I have been a Richard Blade fan since MV3 was on back in the early 80's.

Scott - We needz the suga!

Sara - Actually there is something there. It's a special message I should have thought about before thinking about all this other stuff!
