East Coast Swing
Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 8:02AM Tonight my wife and I start our second dance class, East Coast Swing.
We had so much fun with the Salsa class we took that as soon as it ended we looked to see what class was going to be next. I was hoping for ballroom but maybe next time.
Dancing is something I love to do. If that means turning on the XBOX and playing Dance Cental, making a music video, or just turning on some music on an empty hotel floor and gettting your dance on with some friends. I love it all.
And it's good for the bg's. It is exercise, or as I like to call it, disguisersize. Exercise disguised as something else.
The other benefit is that it gives my wife and I time away together. We need to make more excuses to get away. It's tough with work, family, and home stuff. You all know what I mean. This way we can go do something together that is fun and beneficial.

Ohhhh, I'm so jealous! I would love to learn to swing...the dance variety. : | There aren't such opportunities in my little corner of the world and my husband doesn't like to dance. My daughter instigated swing lessons when she was in high school just before the prom. They had so much fun!

i'm totally in love with the word disguisersize. in my mind it actually means you're doing jazzercise in a costume, but it's open for interpretation.

Oooooohhh, Swing is so much fun!!! I always loved the rhythm dances (swing, cha cha, etc) more than the smooth (waltz, foxtrot, etc). But they are all fun and they are all great exercise. So glad you and Jasmine are enjoying them!!
john and i took swing classes before a friend's wedding about 10 years ago. big big fun! i should find more ways to participate in disguisercize (WHAT AN AWESOME WORD).
New favorite term - disguisersize.
Must find many opportunities to use!
