A Weekend Away

I want to first say "thanks" to all of you who commented and who are keeping my family in their prayers and thoughts. I was in tears reading most of those responses and feel like whatever is supposed to happen will. I am prepared for that now.

After spending so much time stressing about life, we have decided to use some free rooms we have in Laughlin and are going for a quick get away. Don't worry, we don't have enough money to get ourselves in trouble but we are looking to just have some fun.

Time away from reality is very appealing right now.

I have much to update you on. Lots of good things have been happening despite all the crappy stuff so I will get back to daily posts Monday.

Thanks again for not giving up on me. :)

Enjoy your weekend away and can't wait to hear about the good stuff next week.

Let me leave you with some ninja wisdom:
Always carry a spare ninja uniform. You never know when you will need to change into something less dirty in mid-battle.

I'm sure there's a hidden meaning and a life lesson in there somewhere.

Glad to hear you've had some good things happen in the midst of the other stuff. Hope you have a great weekend away. :)

So glad you're back. You're going to be okay. Enjoy a little R&R and then get back to reality. No one ever promised us a rose garden. But God doesn't give us more than we can handle. There is always something to learn in what we go through. Another thought: God doesn't comfort us to make us comfortable. He comforts us to make US a comfort to someone else. Heard that on Charles Stanley and loved the idea.

You taught us that!
