Wii Will Be Fit!

I am going to get fit.

Last Wednesday I was in line at a 24 hour Wal-Mart and bought the very last Wii Fit in their store. And since I got it, I have not been able to stop working out on this thing.

It looks like a silly little toy but it packs a punch.

The Yoga poses are awesome and makes my ninja skills seem so worthless.

Then the strength training is very challenging. The push ups, lunges, leg extensions, and jack knives are such a good workout.

Then I can jog around a little island and watch all the Mii’s on my Wii wave and cheer me on.

My whole family is digging it as are some of my friends. Maybe adding this to my daily routine will help me lose the weight I gained in the month I have been blog free and Weight Watchers free.

Have any of you check it out? I would love to know if anyone in the OC is Wii Fitting!

Anyhow, I had a great weekend and I am ready to get my act together. I appreciate all the kind words and support from you all.

The Ninja is back!

Sounds like lots of fun! Unfortunately we are a game free family, meaning video games aren't allowed. I tried to convince my parents that a Wii or perhaps Playstation with DDR was a good idea because you know it's activity, but they won't budge. Good luck with the "Fit"ness!

Oh, I am jealous. However, now that I have my spiffy new job, maybe I can save up some money and get my own Wii. I've always wanted one. I have a feeling my own laptop might come first, but Wii (and Wii Fit) sound like excellent splurge choices in my foreseeable future!

"... and makes my ninja skills seem so worthless."

That sentence made my face hurt from smiling.

Welcome back, SuperG!

This whole Wii thing has me intrigued. I'm a little scared, though. The last time I played video games was on an Atari 2600! :-)

Welcome back!

The best part of this game is how all of my roommates and friends are constantly trying to beat each others scores in the Balance Games!

I got my Wii Fit last week and I love it! Some of the exercises kick my butt, but it just makes me want to try harder. =) I haven't seen any changes in my weight or BMI, but I figure it will take some time.

We have a Wii Fit too. My favourites are the ski jump and the hula hoops.

Wow, I think even I might be able to manage that one. I tried playing on a couple of new gaming systems, but I'm afraid I'm stuck on Atari. One joy stick (fnarr, fnarr), one button. Much easier for someone as coordinationally challenged as me.

Too bad I don't have a Wii.... Gina's idea of online WiiFit is brilliant!

I want a wii fit so bad. Have yet to be able to find any around here though.

OMG the Wii is so much fun. I love it although I am sore all the time now.
