I was so excited to get to work today and see what picture was going to be in display for the month of March and here it is!
The Mackinac Bridge! Have any of you ever crossed it?

And here I thought this was going to be a post about Bone Thugs N Harmony!
I have crossed it many times. And where is it? In Michigan, the bridge to go between the upper and lower peninsula.
Kim - When I typed that message on FB I was singing that song in my head. We were separated at birth or something. LOL
Judi - YES! It says the "straights of Mackinac in Michigan!" I hope to cross it one day! Very cool.
Ah, that bridge always reminds me of home! I grew up on the north side of it, and have crossed it many a time. :)
Great picture, George!!! Being a Michigan man, I've crossed it several times and absolutely love going up there. We have been staying in the Lower Peninsula in recent years on trips back, mostly to Traverse City (another AWESOME MUST VISIT place!) and also hanging on the western coast over by Ludington. All beautiful places, and I'd highly recommend taking some time to get to those parts of Michigan.
sadly, no. but it's a good lookin one, no doubt!
Many, many times..in a car and once on foot! I've lived in Michigan all my life!
Yes, I have. It was in 1970 and my marching band went to Traverse City Michigan to be in the Cherry Blossom Festival parade. I remember it so clearly because my best friend was afraid of driving over bridges and dug her head into my shoulder for what seemed like a very long time! She was a bassoon player in band so had to play the cymbals in parades and boy could she do some fancy flips with those things. Gosh I need to see if she's on Facebook. Which I just signed up for so I could vote for the diabetic Barbie......
I have never been there but I used to have a coworker who had. Can we talk about the usage of a silent "c" though?
