Thank the Presidents

Who would have ever thought the Presidents of the United states would help me discover a truth about diabetes I never knew?

I am so glad you wrote this! I ALWAYS recognize a rise in blood sugar when I am stressed, and it is always around 100 mg/dl. Here's to stressing less, in traffic and in life!

Great post G-Money! Funny how such a small change in our thinking can make such a real difference.

I love this post! How cool that you were able to identify your issue and actually do something about it!! W00t! I grew up in SoCal but moved away before I had to deal with too much traffic (I was only 16). I once drove from Newport Beach to Disneyland on surface streets just to avoid the freeway. :-) The only time I saw stress affect my bg was when I was in the hospital for an operation. That's the only time I've ever had an insulin shot since my glucose just wouldn't go back down. I'm sure it's happened other times but I'm retired now so it happens less often. I hope you continue to handle that traffic stress. Good luck!
