Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 8:31AM Saturday mornings when I was a kid were the best! I would get up early to watch all my favorite cartoons all morning long. The other thing about Saturday Morning cartoons were the cool mini shows during commercial breaks. Schoolhouse Rocks, Yuck Mouth, Louie the Lifeguard, and even that “Hanker for a Hunk of Cheese” guy were awesome!
BUT Saturday mornings had a dark side. A side that always made me a little uncomfortable. A side that we don’t talk about much. Do you remember this?
Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 8:02AM Tomorrow is the big day for George and the other kids that won the essay contest at school. I found this clip of some kids that had the same honor last year.
I am so excited for my son. I know how honored he feels and tomorrow should be a huge day for him. I have seen the changing of the guard but I have not seen the wreath presentation ceremony before.
