Three Exciting Things
I have three very cool things I want to tell you about.
First has to do with my son George.
Back in November I shared with you some exciting news about a contest George entered and won. I also posted the video from my iphone of his reaction when we told him. Very cool stuff. Well tomorrow we are going to a luncheon that will recognize all of the winners here in Orange County and will find out who wins and goes on to the state competition. George is already so excited that he even got this far that if he doesn’t win tomorrow I think he will be okay. I am so proud of him for even entering. That takes some serious guts.
Next has to do with my friend Vivian who is back to blogging and I cannot tell you happy I am. Vivian was one of the first blogs and bloggers that I connected with. Won’t you head over and check out Danieldoo and maybe even check out My Very First Interview with Daniel aka Ninjabetic Jr. Vivian is his mom and what a mom she is!
And the last good news I want to share with you all is that I have just accepted the Inside Sales Manager position at my job. I am very excited about this new venture and also a little worried about the amount of time I will have to devote to my online presence. I am sure I will find a way to fit in both quite. I am ninja after all, right?
I hope you all have a safe and fun weekend and watch for the tweets on Saturday about the luncheon. I’ll let you know if George made it to the next round.

Congrats to Georgie!! Even if he does not go to the next round, he will always be a rock star with all of us. He is an amazing kid.
You will totally be great at your new position. I am sure it will take a bit of time to find a balance for everything. You will get there, Ninja style.
Thank you for the kind words. I can't even tell you how much it means. Big hugs to your family!
Awesome!! Congrats, ninja boy!
Awesome news, G! Congrats on that success at work, and good luck to your son this weekend! Life happens, and finding balance is always a challenge - do what you need to! There's always understanding in the D-OC, and others to fill in the gaps that Life With or Aside From Diabetes often create. Whatever time allows, I will personally look forward to your insight as always.
Awesome, ninja! Congrats to you and your son. I'm so happy your friend hs blogging again too. I'll have to add her to my list of reads. :-)
Congratulations on your new job and I INSIST that you tweet what happens tomorrow at the luncheon. Tell my little cousin Georgie that I wish him luck and am sending good thoughts his way! Oh, and that I am super proud of him. I hope Jacob grows up to be like your boy, he is a super great kid.
Awesome, SuperG!!! Congrats to you, LittleG, and welcome back to Vivian. :)
Congrats to MacDaddyofFunk! He's still a rock star even if he doesn't make it to the next round but I have a feeling he will!
I'm excited about your friend blogging again.
Congrats to YOU! How exciting!!!!! Btw, you'll find your groove. It may take time but you will.
Congrats to G2 (that's George the second!) -- hopefully, this will lead to more. I was also really glad Vivan started posting at Daniedoo again; I didn't quite believe it when my reader found so many posts, but it was true and I was glad she came back! As for the new job, you'll just have to fit it in when you can; I try to login when time permits, but I don't think everyone expects you there all the time; but when time permits, its great!
Congratulations!!! You will work it out!
George, So excited for you and your family.
Congrats on the job thing brother, you will do great and have a positive impact on everyone there. Even if you have to lay the smackdown on a few folks. :-)
I'm so glad Viv & Daniel are back online!
